In our educational farm children will discover many unknown and attractive aspects of the country life.
Each visit generally consists of theoretical explanations, games, a field trip and a laboratory in which the children prepare something with their own hands.
There is as well a small museum dedicated to the memories: the children can regain some of the tools commonly used in our countryside until the last century. They now seem really archaic!

On specific request, it is possible to develop other themes and paths.

There is also the possibility of creating more lessons in collaboration with Arcoiris (www.arcoiriscoop.it), a social cooperative with deals with fair trade and education.

The company has chosen to cultivate the land through the techniques of organic production and now offers certified products, thanks to a conversion period lasted three years.

But in order to practice the techniques of organic production, it is crucial to take into consideration also the ecosystem in which the production takes place and to create a "natural defence army" for the plants themselves. For this reason, the farm has a basin for the development of insects and various hedges in order to create a natural barrier of protection.

We have a wide variety of plants: in the orchard grow peaches, apples and pears, in recent years we have produced alfalfa and we have a space for the garden where we grow the traditional tomatoes, zucchinis, eggplants, peppers, salad and even pumpkins, watermelons and melons typical of our countryside.

The organic farm offers the opportunity to purchase fresh seasonal products and some processed products, such as jams, juices and tomato juice.
